Blank Stares and Cricket Claps Review
Rumble has been reviewed in the demo round-up in the new issue (number 
of Blank Stares and Cricket Claps fanzine, which you can download as a PDF from their site. The demo reviews are supposedly by has-been DJ Paul Gambaccini and Big Tuna’s resident psychopath Bobby Peru, who don’t appear to like us! We can still get some good selective quotes out of it though.
Paul: A trio from Kent, Psychotic Reaction, offer us ‘Rumble’, misleading titles and names abound, I must say I’m not overly impressed. Quintessentially reminiscent of The Wedding Present’s early repertoire duplicated by 6th formers. Some enjoyable ragged rompish parts in there, yet hardly a sound destined to change popular culture as we appreciate it.
