I’ve a forty minute slot at Ultimate Unplugged in the CCSU tonight at 6pm (the last slot, I think).
Not sure if the others can make it yet, but it will be an acoustic terrorism affair.

KIAD- always a tricky place to play, somewhat remote, strangely hard to promote (I should write a song…). Back from ATP, I was raring to go and, as so often happens at relaxed and sparsely attended gigs, we played really well, but that’s not why I am writing this blog. Vic’s Vapo Club is a new band night organised by Picturebox along with a collective of local performers, including Spygenius, Robert Rotifer and us, and featuring various special guests. The first nights will be taking place at the Cricketers in St Peters Street, Canterbury. Alex is doing a solo spot supporting Picturebox on 22nd June, with other support acts to be confirmed. More details when we get them.

The Cherry Tree, Canterbury, 8th May 2007
Our second band gig in a week after nothing since February- hopefully our drought is over! The Cherry Tree, reputedly established in 1372, is a funny old place- it’s two tiny rooms resembling a dodgy Greek restaurant c. 1978 not making it the most obvious choice for a music venue, but it works- and a lot better than certain other self-proclaimed ‘music clubs’ around here.

We’re playing at the Cherry Tree in Canterbury this Tuesday (8th May). We don’t know who the support band is, but the music starts at 8.30pm and we’re on at 9.30pm.
