Interesting. If we really are recycling the early '90's that puts us at least ten years ahead of most indie-schmindie bands in terms of influences! The basic idea of MOC was to try and conjur the spirit of some of those bands (Pixies et al) as I perceived truly 'indie' (ie independent) music to be dying. As for ODB I came home jobless and skint sometime in late winter 2005, it started to rain and I looked out of the window whilst playing my guitar and out it came!! Hence the title.
