Genre Music Is The Enemy
Our EP “Genre Music Is The Enemy” has had a short and sweet review from Subba-Cultcha.
There is a new review of GMITE at Room 13. Slightly better than the last one, although the reviewer doesn’t seem to realise that “bland, torrid affair” is an oxymoron, and can’t spell “flair”.
Tim Miller at God Is In The TV has just given our EP a very hostile review. However, we’re not taking it too seriously as we know that Tim Miller really likes The Libertines, Babyshambles, Muse, and KT Tunstall.
Here are two new reviews for Genre Music Is The Enemy. One is really good and the other is really bad:
Trev (formerly writer of Lost Music zine) at IndieMP3 has reviewed our new EP, Genre Music Is The Enemy. Alex will definitely approve of the Syd Barrett comparisons.
We’ve just found out that we were reviewed by Amped Reviews, and it was quite good. We would’ve sent them a CD if they’d sent us their address like we asked!
“A Moment Of Clarity” has been given an excellent review by Unpeeled zine.
I’ve just found two more reviews of “A Moment Of Clarity” from Diskant and Screaming Tarts. Both are quite good.
“A Moment Of Clarity” has been reviewed by The Mag, but they didn’t like it.
“A Moment Of Clarity” has had an excellent review from Lobster Quadrille, and a not quite so excellent one from Make Noise and Dance. That make 9 so far and no-one has really hated it. Surely it can’t last?
