Yes, we started late due to 'technical problems' (chavs in t'other studio over-running!), but we got there in the end- we played Overdraft Blues, Battery In My Brain and Barking Up The Wrong Tree and spun tunes by the Stooges, Magnetic Fields and Flaming Lips. We also ate cake. Thanks to Holly and Amelia at CSR for putting up with us! We will be back again, no doubt...

True enough, though I was also obsessed with We're Only In It For The Money and (Jurassic 5's) Quality Control at the time, which also had an influence on the structure. Oh yes.

Hmmm. Interesting. If we really are recycling the early '90's that puts us at least ten years ahead of most indie-schmindie bands in terms of influences!

The basic idea of MOC was to try and conjur the spirit of some of those bands (Pixies et al) as I perceived truly 'indie' (ie independent) music to be dying.

As for ODB I came home jobless and skint sometime in late winter 2005, it started to rain and I looked out of the window whilst playing my guitar and out it came!! Hence the title. Oh, I can laugh about it now....
